NOTES: All teams with have an adult with them. This adult will ensure safety and NOT help with the clues or tasks. Adults will have clues and leave some clues at locations.

  • A bag from the dollar store? Money? Map of Downtown, Compass, water, measuring tape.

Start Clue

Climb the statue of John C. Calhoun in the "Square" park to receive your next clue.

First Location

First Detours

  • Option 1 : Go to Charleston Museum - Age of Glamour - Have kids dress up and then go find people and items in the Museum. Option 2 : Go to Children's Museum - Build a tower 7 feet high. Option 3 : Millenium Music store - Find three CDs and give the song title for the 11th track. Option 4 : Artist and Craftsmen - Buy a pig. Go up to the counter, get the colors and create the color wheel or rainbow.

First Clue

Swim with the fishes, make your way to the 300,000 gallon great ocean tank to receive your next clue!

Second Location

Aquarium

First Roadblock

  • Multiple the number of welks by the number of horseshoe crabs in the touch tank.

Second Clue

  • Make your way to the intersection of Calhoun and East Bay street. All team members grab a small drink of water to recieve your next clue. Don't blink or you will miss it.

Third Location

  • Small park on Calhoun and East bay

Third Clue

  • Things are heating up! Go to the corner of Meeting Street and Wentworth and look for Engine 3.

Fourth Location

  • Fire department on Meeting and Wentworth

Second Detour

  • Option 1: Do something in the fire department, dress up, slide down the pole? Option 2: Bike Shop - Find the orange beetle in a local window and get its license number. Option 3: Wentworth Church Cemetary, find a grave or some information

Fourth Clue

Travel South on East Bay street. Find the Charleston Candy Kitchen and each team member must purchase your favorite piece of candy to receive your next clue.

Fifth Location

East bay and Market.

Second Roadblock

  • Hop to it, Go to the customs house and hop to the top. Hop on just one foot!

Fifth Clue

Picture Perfect, join the paintings in the museum south of Market. Ask for Christina.

Sixth Location

  • Gibbes Museum

Third Detour

  • Option 1: Find it! Search the musuem for blah blah. Option 2: Pick something to paint out of a hat, in the court yard.

Sixth Clue

Time for a dip, go to the park in "front" of the "water".

Seventh Location

  • Waterfront Park

Roadblock

  • Put together the clue by going to the middle of both fountains.

Seventh Clue

  • No where to run, run to the end of a dock at the waterfront park to receive your next clue. Hint: look for the coast guard boats.

== Detour ==

Option 1: Go to the park, someone will pitch a ball, everyone must hit it a certain distance and everyone throw a strike.

Option 2: Fly a kite, fly a kite a certain height for 2 mins.

Eighth Location

  • Waterfront Park

Detour

  • Option 1: (Something difficult) Four Corners of law. Multiple the amount of post office boxes inside by the amount of mail boxes outside, minus the columns of st Michaels church. Option 2: (Something time consuming) Somewhere on Legare street there is a house with a sword gate, find it! Count the swords.

Eighth Clue

  • Run to the finish, make your way to the gazeebo in White Pointe Gardens!
